Lateral Partner — Financial Services (Toronto)

Leading international firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Financial Services group in Toronto. The role focuses on regulatory and transactional work across banks, insurers, intermediaries and fund managers, advising on fund management, formation and portfolio-related matters.

The team advises Canadian and cross-border clients on regulatory compliance and commercial finance matters. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary practice handling both advisory and transactional mandates.

Toronto-based appointment (consideration given to candidates in Montreal with strong Canadian market credentials).

• Established partner with a corporate, regulatory or transactional focus in financial services (no litigators)
• Proven experience advising banks, insurers, intermediaries and/or fund managers
• Interest or experience in fund management, fund formation or portfolio management
• Located in Toronto or Montreal
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
