Senior partner-level opportunity with a well-established German law firm seeking a leader for its Government & Public and Compliance & Regulatory practice in Cologne. The role focuses on advising public-sector bodies, commercial clients on government contracts and regulatory compliance matters, and supporting cross-practice regulatory projects.

The practice requires a partner who will lead matters, develop business, and mentor fee-earners. The firm values pragmatic, commercially minded advice and expects the new partner to grow and further develop the government/contracts and compliance offering.

Applicants with an existing portable practice or demonstrable business development track record in government contracts/compliance are particularly encouraged to apply. Flexible arrangements can be discussed for the right candidate.

Established partner-level experience in government/public law, government contracts and regulatory compliance.
Proven track record of originating or developing client relationships and leading teams on complex matters.
Strong drafting and advisory skills; experience with public-sector procurement and regulatory frameworks preferred.
Fluent German and strong English; ability to work and network in the Cologne market.
