A leading German office is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its Compliance & Regulatory and Finance & Banking offering in Cologne. The role will involve advising financial institutions and corporates on regulatory compliance, cross-border financing matters and related regulatory frameworks.

The partner will lead and develop a team, manage key client relationships and work closely with other practice groups on integrated transactions and regulatory matters. A portable practice or demonstrable client origination capability is welcome.

Established partner-level experience in compliance/regulatory matters and finance or banking work
Track record advising financial institutions and/or corporate clients on regulatory frameworks (including international regulatory regimes)
Proven client development skills and willingness to grow a portable practice
Strong team leadership and project-management abilities
Fluent in German and English; admission to practice in Germany preferred
