Seeking a lateral partner to lead and expand a patent-focused IP practice in the Charlotte office. The role combines client-facing business development with hands-on work across patent prosecution and patent litigation matters.

The successful candidate will join a national team of IP lawyers, manage and mentor junior lawyers, and help grow regional client relationships. The position offers a chance to build practice presence locally while collaborating on larger, multi-office matters.

Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
Proven partner-level experience in patent prosecution and patent litigation
Track record of originating and developing client relationships and business development
Admissions and credentials appropriate for practice (bar admission, technical degree or equivalent experience preferred)
