Lateral Partner, Intellectual Property & Technology — Los Angeles

Seeking a lateral partner to join a major national firm’s Los Angeles office to lead and expand its Intellectual Property and Technology practice. The role will focus on counseling and contentious work across telecommunications and life‑sciences technology matters.

The team handles a mix of complex transactional, counseling and dispute matters for corporate and technology clients. The hire will work closely with firm leadership to grow client relationships and originate new engagements in the region.

Portable practice owners are encouraged to apply; the role requires a strong commercial focus and proven ability to manage senior client relationships and mentor associates.

• Established partner with a demonstrated IP/technology practice, ideally with experience in telecommunications or life sciences technology.
• Proven business development skills and a track record of originating and managing client engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and supervise associates on complex matters.
• Strong technical understanding of IP law and technology transactions or related litigation.
