Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property, Washington, D.C.

Experienced intellectual property partner sought to join a well-established Washington, D.C. practice. The role will involve leading IP matters, advising corporate and institutional clients, and developing firm-wide IP strategy across litigation and counseling work.

The firm is looking for a senior lawyer with a proven track record of originating and managing client relationships, and the ability to grow a portable practice in the D.C. market. This is a leadership position with opportunities for practice development, mentoring, and visibility within a broad national platform.

• Admitted to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s).
• Established practice in intellectual property with substantial experience handling IP counseling and/or litigation.
• Demonstrated client origination and relationship-management skills; ability to bring or develop a portable book of business.
• Proven track record of supervising associates and contributing to business development and practice leadership.
