Seeking an experienced litigation partner to lead and grow a Real Estate and Construction disputes practice in Detroit. The role focuses on complex commercial and construction-related litigation, counseling developers, contractors, and owners across pre-litigation dispute resolution, arbitration, and courtroom matters.

The team works on a mix of contested contract, defect, delay, and indemnity matters, with opportunities to handle significant regional matters and to develop a portable practice. This is a senior leadership role within a well-established national firm platform.

Established track record in construction and real estate litigation, including trial and arbitration experience
Proven client development skills; portable book of business welcomed
Admitted to the relevant state bar and able to practice in Michigan
Strong drafting, motion practice and case-management capabilities; able to lead teams and mentor junior lawyers
