Established global law firm is seeking a lateral partner to lead and expand its restructuring and bankruptcy capabilities in the Chicago office. The role will focus on advising debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders across complex in-court and out-of-court restructurings.

The successful candidate will have a portable practice or demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships, and will play a senior role in client development, matter leadership, and mentoring junior lawyers.

Partner-level experience in bankruptcy, restructuring and related corporate matters.
Proven track record of originating or bringing portable client relationships and developing new business.
Strong technical skills in insolvency law, Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
Demonstrated leadership, people-management and client-service abilities.
Admission to practice in Illinois or ability to become admitted promptly.
