Our client, a leading US law firm, is seeking a lateral partner to join its well-regarded restructuring and finance & banking practice in Dallas. This is a key strategic hire for the firm, reflecting its commitment to growing its transactional capabilities in this area.

The ideal candidate will have a sophisticated practice focused on bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring matters, with substantial experience across the debt side of transactions. The role offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative, transparent partnership and to contribute to the firm's continued growth.

• JD from a top-tier law school and strong academic credentials
• Admission to the Texas State Bar (or ability to become admitted promptly)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in restructuring, insolvency, and related litigation at a leading law firm
• Substantial experience with secured lending, out-of-court restructurings, asset acquisitions and divestitures, UCC and real property foreclosures, and debtor/creditor disputes
• Established client relationships and a track record of business development in industries such as retail, manufacturing, real estate, and energy
• Portable book of business of $1M+ (USD) with a history of consistent growth (per candidate profile)
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
