Seeking an experienced lateral partner to lead and grow a tax and litigation practice based on Long Island. The role will handle complex tax disputes and related civil litigation matters, manage trial and appellate advocacy, and oversee case strategy from investigation through resolution.
The successful candidate will join a full-service U.S. firm and work with a team of litigators and tax advisors on regional matters. There is a clear expectation to develop client relationships, originate new work, and mentor junior lawyers.
- Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
- Significant partner-level experience in tax controversy and related litigation
- Strong trial and appellate advocacy skills; courtroom experience preferred
- Proven business development track record and ability to originate work
- Active bar admission in New York (or eligible) and JD from an accredited law school
