Lateral Partner, Tax — Toronto

An established global firm is expanding its Canada tax practice and is seeking a lateral partner to help lead growth in Toronto. The role offers an opportunity to build a team and expand offerings across high-priority tax areas.

Priority workstreams include high-net-worth/private client planning, tax controversy and dispute resolution, and transactional tax support for M&A and financings. The successful candidate will drive client development and collaborate with cross-border tax teams.

• Established partner-level tax experience in one or more of: high-net-worth/private client planning, tax controversy, transactional tax
• Proven business development skills and ability to grow a practice
• Track record of leading or mentoring fee-earners
• Portable book of business of CAD $1M+
