Litigation Associate — Seattle

We are seeking a litigation associate to join a growing defense team in Seattle handling insurance-related civil litigation. The role involves all phases of case management across insurance coverage and bad-faith matters, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, UIM defense, premises liability, transportation claims, employment and property disputes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include taking depositions, attending hearings and mediations, drafting pleadings, motions and discovery, preparing case strategies, conducting legal research and communicating with insurance carrier clients and insureds. You will participate in trial and mediation preparation and may try cases as needed.

• Admitted to practice in Washington State.
• 1–10 years of civil litigation experience, with insurance-defense experience preferred.
• Proven legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills; experience with depositions, hearings and motions practice.
• Strong organization, time-management and multitasking abilities; ability to handle sensitive, time‑sensitive matters and communicate effectively with clients.
