Corporate M&A Associate – Mid-to-Senior Level, Baltimore

A Baltimore-based office of a leading international law firm is seeking an outstanding mid-to-senior level associate with three to five years of relevant experience to join its nationally recognized Corporate & Finance team.

The successful candidate will bring excellent law firm training and substantial experience advising on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including strategic alliances and joint ventures, ideally gained at a leading national or international law firm. The team represents clients across a diverse range of industries, including technology, aerospace and defense, government services, life sciences, energy, and financial services.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent drafting and negotiating skills, the ability to manage multiple workstreams, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with sophisticated client management teams. Experience advising on corporate governance matters and familiarity with securities issuances or private equity financings is a plus. A strong desire and ability to work in a collegial, team-oriented environment is essential, including a demonstrated commitment to mentoring and supervising junior associates.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate M&A
• Expertise advising on complex domestic and cross-border M&A, strategic alliances, and joint ventures
• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate with client teams
• Experience with corporate governance matters preferred
• Familiarity with securities issuances or private equity financings a plus
• Demonstrated commitment to mentoring and supervising junior associates
• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and membership in a U.S. state bar
