Partner — Bankruptcy & Corporate, New York

Our client, a major US law firm with a strong national restructuring practice, is seeking a partner to join its Bankruptcy and Corporate groups in New York. The role will focus on leading restructurings, bankruptcy matters and related corporate work across a mix of debtor, creditor and stakeholder representations.

The team handles complex, high-value matters and seeks a commercially minded partner who can manage litigation- and transaction-focused assignments, supervise junior lawyers, and work collaboratively across practice groups. A portable practice or demonstrable client relationships are welcome and will be considered in the evaluation.

• Established partner with substantial bankruptcy / restructuring experience and significant corporate transaction or insolvency-related work.
• Proven track record of originating and leading matters and managing teams on complex cases.
• Licensed to practice in New York (or able to obtain admission) and comfortable appearing in bankruptcy courts.
• Strong client relationship and business development skills; portable book of business considered.
