An established global law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Toronto corporate team, with a focus on corporate transactions and finance matters. The role spans M&A, banking and capital markets work and includes opportunities to advise on real estate-related corporate transactions.

The team is open to partner hires and small team moves; candidates with a portable practice and demonstrable client relationships will be given priority. The role involves originating and managing complex transactions, mentoring junior lawyers, and contributing to business development across the Canada practice.

Stand-alone track record as a partner-level corporate/finance lawyer, with experience in M&A, banking/capital markets and related real estate transactions.
Proven client development skills and a portable practice or demonstrable ability to originate work.
Ability to manage and mentor teams and to lead multi-disciplinary transactions.
Admission to practise in Ontario (or eligibility) and clear professional standing.
