Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Sioux Falls office to lead corporate and intellectual property transactional work with a focus on energy and life‑sciences related matters. The role combines M&A, private‑equity and commercial IP counseling on domestic transactions.

The partner will handle deal execution, supervise associates and collaborate across practices to support clients in corporate governance, financings and technology/IP aspects of transactions. There is an expectation to contribute to business development and grow a regional transactional practice.

Established partner-level transactional experience in M&A, private equity and IP-related deals, ideally with exposure to energy or life‑sciences clients.
Proven ability to originate and cultivate client relationships; portable business welcomed.
Leadership experience supervising teams and managing complex transactions.
Active bar admission and strong academic and professional references.
