Partner — Corporate & M&A, Austin

Senior hire sought to lead and grow a corporate/M&A practice from the firm s Austin office. The role focuses on private equity-backed M&A, capital markets work (issuer-side), and transactions for technology, life sciences, financial services and energy clients.

The successful candidate will join an expanding team, work collaboratively across practices (including IP and finance), and originate and execute complex cross-border and domestic deals. This is a client-facing leadership role with responsibility for business development and team management.

• Portable book of business of $4M (USD)
• Established partner-level track record in corporate M&A and capital markets, with experience on PE-backed deals and issuer-side work
• Proven client origination and business development skills in technology, life sciences, financial services or energy sectors
• Experience leading deal teams and collaborating with litigation, IP and finance specialists
