Partner — Corporate (M&A) — Chicago

Seeking a lateral partner to join a busy corporate practice in the Chicago office, with a leading transactional focus on M&A and corporate governance. The role will originate and lead complex buy- and sell-side deals, advise boards and senior management, and mentor junior lawyers.

The team handles cross-border and domestic transactions for corporate clients across industries. The firm is looking for a visible rainmaker who can build client relationships and contribute to practice development while integrating into a collaborative, multidisciplinary platform.

• Proven partner-level M&A/transactional practice with experience leading deals and advising on corporate governance.
• Strong track record of originating or materially contributing to client relationships; portable business preferred.
• Admission to practice and good standing in the relevant US jurisdiction(s).
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor associates and work collaboratively across practice groups.
