Partner — Corporate & M&A, Doha

Senior corporate partner role based in Doha to lead and grow a market-facing corporate practice. The role will focus on M&A, corporate governance and general transactional work across the region, working with local and international counterparties.

The successful candidate will take a hands-on lead on complex transactions, develop client relationships and mentor a small team of local and regional lawyers. A portable practice or demonstrable ability to bring and develop client mandates in the market is welcomed.

• Established partner-level experience in corporate/M&A and transactional work
• Proven record of leading complex cross-border deals and advising on corporate governance
• Demonstrable business development skills and ability to win and manage client mandates; a portable practice is welcome
• Experience managing and mentoring lawyers in the region; excellent commercial judgment and client-facing skills
