Senior hire to lead and grow a busy corporate practice in the London office of a well‑regarded UK law firm. The role focuses on complex domestic and cross‑border M&A and private equity transactions, acting for corporate and sponsor clients across a range of sectors.

The firm is seeking a commercial, client‑facing partner who will lead deal teams, manage and develop client relationships, and contribute to business development and strategic growth of the practice. Candidates should be comfortable handling sizable, sophisticated transactions and mentoring junior lawyers.

Admitted to practise in England and Wales (or equivalent) with substantial partner‑level corporate/M&A experience
Demonstrable track record on M&A and private equity transactions and experience leading deal teams
Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships; a portable practice or demonstrable business development capability is desirable
Strong commercial judgement, excellent client management skills and experience mentoring more junior lawyers
