Leading international law firm seeks a partner to help expand a busy corporate practice in Chicago with a focus on M&A, capital markets and technology transactions. The role will work closely with cross-practice teams including IP and litigation to advise corporate and emerging-growth clients.

The successful candidate will take a senior client-facing role: originating and managing complex transactions, developing new business, and mentoring associates. The office is experiencing growth and the hire will collaborate with other domestic and international offices.

Portable book of business of $4M+ (USD)
Significant partner-level experience advising on M&A and capital markets transactions
Proven client development track record, especially with technology, life sciences, financial services or energy sector clients
Comfort managing deal teams and working with IP, litigation and technology groups
Active bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or ability to qualify
