Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow an established energy and environmental practice from the firm's Milwaukee office. The role combines regulatory counseling and project-transactional work for clients across the energy sector, with a particular emphasis on federal and state environmental regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will advise clients on EPA and state-level compliance, permitting, and enforcement matters, while also supporting commercial transactions and project development. This is an opportunity to take responsibility for a portable practice and to collaborate with a cross-office team serving utility, renewable energy, and energy services clients.

Proven partner-level experience in energy and environmental law, including EPA and state regulatory matters
Track record of originating or managing client relationships; ability to bring or grow a portable practice
Experience handling permitting, compliance, enforcement, and related transactional work for energy-sector clients
Bar admission or eligibility to practice in Wisconsin; strong written and oral advocacy and client-management skills
