Leading German law firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its Energy and Environmental practice in Munich. The role will lead client work across transactional, regulatory and advisory matters in the energy and environment sectors, and help grow a market-facing team.

The successful candidate will take a leadership role on high‑profile mandates, support business development and mentor junior lawyers. This is a partner appointment open to candidates with an established portable practice; the firm is flexible on scale of book of business and will consider strong strategic fits.

Qualified to practise in Germany (Rechtsanwalt) with partner-level experience in energy and/or environmental law
Proven track record on transactional, regulatory or advisory matters in the energy/environment sector
Established client relationships or demonstrable business development capability (portable practice preferred)
Experience managing and mentoring teams
Fluent German and strong English communication skills
