Senior partner opportunity with a leading international firm to lead and grow energy and environmental work from the Tokyo office. The role focuses on high-value energy and infrastructure mandates, advising clients on regulatory, project and transactional matters across the sector.

The appointment is location‑agnostic with a Tokyo presence expected for client engagement. The team is assessing candidates based on the strength and portability of their practice; candidates who can contribute an established client base and revenue-generating work will be prioritized.

Established partner-level experience in energy and environmental law, including infrastructure projects.
Proven track record advising on complex transactions, project development and regulatory matters in the energy sector.
Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development; portable practice preferred.
Qualified to practice in relevant jurisdiction(s) with excellent English communication skills; Japanese language ability an advantage.
