Established national law firm seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow its finance and banking practice in the Atlanta office. The role will handle a broad mix of finance matters, including commercial lending, consumer finance (including card products) and public finance work.

The team advises borrowers, lenders and other financial institutions on sophisticated transactions and regulatory issues. The successful candidate will join an experienced group and be expected to originate and deepen client relationships across the region.

Portable business is welcomed; the role offers significant opportunity to build a regional platform while working with a well-resourced national practice group.

Established partner with demonstrable experience in finance and banking matters, including commercial lending and consumer finance.
Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable practice preferred.
Strong transactional, drafting and negotiation skills; experience with regulatory aspects of consumer and public finance is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively across a national platform and mentor junior lawyers.
