Seeking a partner to lead and grow a finance and banking practice from the Dallas office of a leading US law firm. The role focuses on private credit and lending transactions, advising lenders and sponsors on loan structuring and documentation across middle‑market and institutional deals.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills with a track record of originating or handling private credit and syndicated lending matters, and will play a visible role in client development and practice leadership within the team.

Established partner-level experience in banking/finance with a focus on private credit and lending.
Proven ability to originate and manage transactions and maintain strong client relationships; portable business welcomed.
Deep knowledge of loan documentation, syndicated and unitranche financings, and related regulatory issues.
Excellent commercial judgment, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and ability to mentor junior lawyers.
Bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction and eligibility to work in the United States.
