A national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join and help lead its Finance & Banking practice in Minneapolis. The role will focus on advising lenders and borrowers on commercial lending, finance transactions and related documentation across a range of industries.

The firm is looking for a partner who can both service sophisticated client matters and contribute to practice growth in the region. This is a visible role with opportunities for client development, mentoring junior lawyers and shaping local practice strategy.

Established partner-level track record in finance and banking work (commercial lending, syndicated and leveraged finance experience helpful)
Proven client-facing experience and ability to originate or bring portable business
Strong drafting, negotiation and deal management skills
Ability to lead and mentor junior lawyers and integrate into a collaborative team
Admission to practice in Minnesota or ability to become admitted
