Senior partner role to lead and grow a healthcare and life sciences practice from the firm's Tokyo office. The role combines client-facing matters across transactional, regulatory and commercial work for life sciences and healthcare sector clients.

We are looking for a senior lawyer who will build and manage a practice in market, lead deal teams, and work closely with regional colleagues to service cross-border matters. The position is open on a location‑agnostic basis within Japan, with evaluation reflective of experience and business potential.

Established partner-level experience in healthcare and life sciences matters (commercial, regulatory and transactional).
Proven record of originating and developing client relationships; a portable practice or demonstrable business development pipeline preferred.
Experience leading teams and managing client engagements on cross-border matters.
Strong commercial judgment and the ability to work collaboratively with regional/international colleagues.
