Established national law firm seeks an experienced lateral partner to strengthen and lead its healthcare litigation practice in the Carlsbad office. The role focuses on complex civil litigation and counseling matters for clients in healthcare and life‑sciences sectors.

The partner will handle high‑severity disputes, supervise and develop associates, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm’s healthcare and litigation teams. The position offers significant responsibility for case strategy, trial preparation, and client relationship management.

Candidates with an existing portable practice or demonstrable client development track record in healthcare or life sciences litigation are encouraged to apply.

Proven partner‑level litigation experience in healthcare and/or life sciences matters.
Strong trial and motion practice skills; experience managing complex civil litigation.
Track record of client origination and business development; portable book of business welcomed.
Experience supervising and mentoring associate teams and working cross‑functionally.
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and ability to practice in the office location.
