Leading international law firm seeks a lateral IP partner to join its Frankfurt team, focused on contentious patent work and Unified Patent Court (UPC) litigation. The role complements existing soft-IP capability in trademarks and copyright by adding contentious hard-IP expertise.

The successful candidate will lead patent litigation matters in Germany and before the UPC, develop client relationships, and help grow a market-facing dispute practice. The firm offers full partnership responsibilities within an established European IP platform.

Proven partner-level experience in German patent litigation and UPC proceedings.
Established portable client relationships or demonstrable ability to win and develop business.
Track record of managing teams and leading complex cross-border IP disputes.
Fluency in German and strong English language skills; admission to practise in Germany or equivalent litigation credentials.
