Partner, Intellectual Property — Los Angeles

Leading law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Los Angeles intellectual property team. The role will focus on patent and trademark work with an emphasis on enforcement and defense, managing contested matters and advising clients on IP strategy.

The team handles a mix of counseling and litigation; the firm is looking for a partner who can lead matters, supervise associates, and work closely with in‑house teams. This role is suitable for a partner with a portable practice or demonstrable client development capabilities.

• Established partner with significant experience in patent and trademark matters, including infringement and enforcement.
• Proven litigation experience in federal courts and/or before the USPTO (or equivalent tribunals).
• Track record of origination or the ability to bring and grow client relationships; portable book of business welcome.
• Ability to manage and mentor associates and collaborate with cross‑functional teams; active CA bar admission or eligibility preferred.
