Partner, Media & Technology — New York

Leading New York law firm is seeking a lateral partner to lead and expand its technology and AI-related work within the media & entertainment practice. The role combines client-facing advisory on AI and technology issues with responsibility for growing a practice and mentoring junior lawyers.

The partner will handle counseling on emerging AI/tech risks and opportunities, negotiate commercial and licensing arrangements, and coordinate cross-practice matters with other teams. Strong business-development focus and an ability to strengthen existing client relationships in the media/entertainment and tech sectors are essential.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Proven partner-level experience advising on technology and AI matters, ideally with media & entertainment clients
• Track record of originating business and developing client relationships
• Experience managing and mentoring associates; collaborative team leadership
