Lateral Partner — Project Finance (Paris)

An international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Project Finance practice in Paris. The role focuses on the financing and development of major energy and infrastructure projects, with a particular emphasis on African energy work.

The successful candidate will advise sponsors, lenders and developers on complex, cross-border project financings across the energy and infrastructure sectors. The position offers a platform to lead and grow a practice within a well-established finance team, working alongside colleagues on multi-jurisdictional mandates.

This is a partner-level opportunity for a senior finance practitioner with a proven track record in project finance and a strong interest in, or established experience in, African energy transactions.

• Admitted to practice in France (or eligible to requalify)
• Significant experience in project finance, ideally with a focus on energy and infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to originate and lead complex cross-border transactions
• Strong interest in and/or experience with African energy work
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
