Senior partner opportunity to lead and expand a Real Estate & Construction practice in the firm's Oakland office. The role combines hands-on deal work with practice development responsibilities across commercial real estate, project delivery, and construction-related matters.

The team advises owners, developers, lenders and contractors on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development agreements, construction contracts, and dispute avoidance/management. The office is seeking a partner with demonstrable experience closing complex real estate and construction matters and who can contribute to or grow a portable practice.

This is a client-facing leadership role with expectations for originating business, mentoring associates, and collaborating across regional industry groups.

Partner-level experience in real estate and construction law with a strong transaction and contract background
Proven client origination and relationship-management skills; portable book of business preferred
Licensed to practice in California (or able to qualify) and comfortable working across regional teams
Track record of mentoring/junior lawyer development and cross-practice collaboration
