Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join and strengthen its Tax practice in Düsseldorf. The role will focus on advising corporate and high‑net‑worth clients on domestic and cross‑border tax matters, leading mandates and developing strategic client solutions.

The successful candidate will take a visible leadership role within the practice, work closely with other disciplines across the firm, and help grow the team through business development and mentoring senior associates. A portable practice or demonstrable ability to originate and retain client work is welcome.

Qualified German tax lawyer or equivalent background with partner‑level experience in a law firm or tax practice.
Track record advising on corporate and cross‑border tax matters; comfort with complex, high‑value mandates.
Proven business development skills and experience managing client relationships; portable practice is an advantage.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities; fluent in German and proficient in English.
