Typical responsibilities include conducting prior-art and freedom-to-operate searches, analyzing technical literature, drafting patent applications and office-action responses, and advising attorneys on technical issues for depositions and litigation support.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Broad technical knowledge in computer science or electrical engineering; expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning strongly preferred.
- Experience with prior-art searches, patentability and FTO analyses, and drafting patent applications and office-action responses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and strong attention to detail.
- Eligible to sit for the USPTO registration exam and meet requirements for registration as a patent agent.
