Patent Attorney — Patent Litigation, Düsseldorf

Leading international firm seeks a Patent Attorney to join a top-tier patent litigation team in Düsseldorf. The role focuses on contentious work — EPO opposition and nullity actions, enforcement and defence in infringement proceedings, and representation before the Unified Patent Court.

You will handle mainly patent litigation matters with frequent cross-border elements, draft pleadings, participate in hearings and work closely with colleagues across jurisdictions. Much of the work and client communication is conducted in English.

• Qualified German or European Patent Attorney (Patentanwalt/Patentanwältin)
• Background in chemistry or closely related technical field
• Practical experience in patent litigation (EPO opposition, nullity, and/or infringement matters) preferred
• Excellent written and spoken German and English; strong drafting and oral advocacy skills
• Comfortable working on cross-border matters and collaborating with international teams
