A leading law firm is seeking a practice attorney to support its employee benefits and executive compensation practice in a non-partnership-track role. The position offers the opportunity to work on a steady stream of standardized benefits matters within a collaborative practice group.

Responsibilities include reviewing beneficiary documents, preparing and reviewing Department of Labor and IRS forms and filings, drafting routine participant communications and plan amendments, and assisting with other recurring benefits work. The role also involves contributing to blog posts, client alerts, and other practice materials, and supporting non-billable practice development initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong technology and AI skills, excellent organization and project-management abilities, and close attention to detail. Prior employee benefits experience is preferred but not required for someone who can quickly learn new subject matter and manage multiple projects efficiently. Chicago is the preferred office, though candidates in other offices will be considered; applicants must be admitted to the state bar of their preferred office location.
