Private Equity M&A Associate (Asset Management) – Philadelphia

A leading law firm is seeking a highly qualified associate with 3+ years of experience to join its Private Equity Group in Philadelphia.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working both collaboratively in teams and independently managing components of transactions. Strong experience in asset management M&A is required, with a particular focus on GP stakes transactions preferred.

Additionally, the candidate should have a broad background in corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions and exits, and equity compensation.

• 3+ years of experience in corporate and transactional matters
• Strong asset management M&A experience required
• Focus on GP stakes transactions preferred
• Broad background in M&A, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity/venture capital, exits, and equity compensation
• Proactive with strong business sense and communication skills
• Ability to manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
• Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain promptly) in the resident office’s location
