Private Equity M&A – Junior Associate

Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a highly qualified Class of 2025 associate to join its Private Equity group in San Francisco.

This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated private M&A and growth equity transactions, with responsibilities including:

• Supporting diligence processes and ancillary workstreams
• Assisting with signing and closing mechanics
• Managing internal and external client and counsel relationships
• Exercising sound judgment and proactive communication in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

The ideal candidate will have some transactional experience or a demonstrated interest in private M&A and growth equity, outstanding academic credentials, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comparable law firm experience, a deal sheet, and relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) are required.

Qualifications:

• Class of 2025 law school graduate
• Some experience or demonstrated interest in private M&A and growth equity transactions
• Basic understanding of the diligence process, ancillary workstreams, and signing/closing organization
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
• Deal sheet required
