A leading international law firm seeks a midlevel private investment funds associate to join its global finance, regulatory and investment funds group in New York. The role sits at the center of a dynamic, collaborative practice serving fund sponsors and institutional investors.

The associate will work across the full fund lifecycle, from structuring and formation through investor negotiations and ongoing regulatory considerations. The position offers the opportunity to grow within a culture recognized for mutual respect and professional development.

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in private investment funds.
Experience structuring and forming private equity, venture capital or hedge funds, including drafting fund documents.
Experience negotiating with limited partners on behalf of fund sponsors and reviewing subscription documents.
Experience representing private or institutional investors in fund investments and structuring general partner and management companies.
Working knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Solid academic credentials.
