Apply in confidence →A well-regarded national public finance practice is seeking a 3–6 year associate to join its Sacramento office. The team handles the full spectrum of municipal and public finance work for state and local governmental issuers, non-profit borrowers, underwriters and other market participants.
Work includes representation on financings such as municipal bonds, notes and other tax-exempt and taxable obligations for infrastructure, public programs, health care, educational institutions, housing, utilities and related projects. The group offers structured on-the-job training and mentoring for associates building a public finance practice.
The role suits a motivated transactional attorney with strong writing, communication and client-service skills who is interested in deepening experience in securities, municipal law and governmental financings.
- 3–6 years of relevant law firm experience in public finance or related transactional practice
- Admission to the bar of a U.S. state and eligibility to practice in the office jurisdiction (California)
- Demonstrated transactional skills; exposure to municipal securities, disclosure or UCC/securities law a plus
- Excellent writing, communication and client-service abilities; highly motivated and organized
