A sector-focused international law firm is seeking a Mid to Senior Associate to join its market-leading Asset & Structured Finance group in Athens. This is a permanent position within a practice recognised as a first-class player in asset finance, advising on complex, high-value cross-border transactions.

The group comprises over 150 lawyers globally and combines deep finance expertise with sector-specific insight across shipping, offshore and aviation. You will work on major multi-party financings, asset-backed transactions and sale-and-leaseback arrangements, alongside a broad range of commercial matters in the maritime and offshore sectors.

Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales or another common-law jurisdiction
4+ years of relevant, high-quality post-qualification experience
Significant experience acting on major, multi-party asset-backed finance transactions and sale-and-leaseback arrangements
Broad commercial experience in the maritime and offshore sectors, including drafting and negotiating contracts for the sale and purchase, construction, leasing and operation of ships and offshore units
Ability to operate autonomously with strong organisational and deadline-management skills
