Senior Associate, Corporate M&A — Sydney

An opportunity to join a market-leading Corporate M&A team in Sydney, advising on high‑profile public and private M&A, schemes and cross‑border transactions. The role offers significant deal responsibility, including leading transaction workstreams, drafting and negotiating key documents, and managing external advisers and internal stakeholders.

You will work across complex, multi‑jurisdictional matters alongside a busy international practice, contribute to business development, and play an active role in mentoring junior lawyers. The team is known for market‑leading rankings and a high volume of significant transactions.

• Admission to practice in Australia, New Zealand or England & Wales.
• Proven Senior Associate experience on public and private M&A, including schemes or takeovers and cross‑border deals.
• Excellent technical legal drafting and commercial judgement; ability to lead transaction workstreams and manage deadlines.
• Demonstrated mentoring and people management skills; collaborative team player.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies and willingness to engage with innovation initiatives.
