Apply in confidence →Leading national law firm seeks a Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Executive Compensation practice. The role is open across multiple U.S. offices and will support public-company and transactional work for a varied corporate client base.
The successful candidate will work on executive compensation disclosures, employee benefits aspects of M&A and private equity transactions, tax-qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, executive employment and severance arrangements, and equity and non-equity incentive plans. The position requires substantial client contact, strong drafting and communication skills, and the ability to manage matters independently and as part of a team.
- Approximately 6 years' post-qualification experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
- Experience with public company executive compensation disclosures and benefits issues in M&A/private equity transactions.
- Familiarity with retirement plans (tax-qualified and nonqualified), executive employment and severance arrangements, and equity/non-equity incentive plans.
- Strong academic credentials, excellent written and verbal communication, and proven ability to manage client relationships and lead matters.
