A well-regarded international firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Debt Finance team in Sydney. The team advises on a broad range of debt transactions, including syndicated loans, leveraged and acquisition financings, refinancing and structured finance across domestic and cross-border matters.

The role involves leading drafting and negotiation of facility and security documentation, managing day-to-day deal communications with clients and other parties, and supervising more junior team members. The successful candidate will contribute to practice development and work on complex, market-facing financings for lenders and sponsors.

Admission to practice in Australia
4-7 years PQE in banking / debt finance
Experience with leveraged acquisitions, syndicated and bilateral financings (secured and unsecured) and structured finance
Strong academic record, commercial awareness and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, time-management and client-service focus; team player
