Senior Associate — Financial Lines (Melbourne)

Senior Associate role within a market-leading insurance team in Melbourne, focused on financial lines and professional indemnity. The position offers hands-on work on D&O, professional indemnity (including construction-related PI), coverage advice, class action defence and regulatory matters for a diverse client base.

You will manage complex, mostly litigated matters across state and federal courts and tribunals, working closely with clients, barristers, experts and insurers. The team is collaborative and offers development opportunities across multiple jurisdictions within a global firm network.

• Minimum 4 years' PQE in commercial litigation, insurance or professional indemnity
• Proven litigation experience managing complex files and court/tribunal appearances
• Strong legal research, drafting and advocacy skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organisational ability
• Commercially minded, client-focused and able to work collaboratively in a team
