Senior Associate position in a major professional & financial disputes team based in Sydney. The role focuses on professional indemnity, construction-related PI and financial lines disputes, acting predominantly on insurance-defence work across complex commercial and PI matters.

You will work in a collaborative, high‑calibre team that offers strong partner support, significant matter responsibility and regular interaction with international colleagues. The role offers autonomy on files, exposure to business development opportunities and a clear pathway for career development.

The team operates on a hybrid basis and seeks candidates who can contribute immediately to insurance litigation and PI caseloads while helping to grow the practice within the region.

Qualified lawyer admitted in Australia, New Zealand or an equivalent common‑law jurisdiction (UK or similar) with relevant PQE.
Established insurance litigation background; solid professional indemnity and/or construction PI experience preferred.
Strong private practice experience with proven time management, drafting and advocacy skills.
Commercial awareness, client relationship skills and the ability to lead and delegate within a team environment.
