We are seeking a Solicitor or Senior Associate (4-7 PQE) to join our premier Capital Market Transactions team in Melbourne. In this role, you will work closely with leading partners and gain exposure to some of the most prestigious initial public offerings, capital raisings, and public and private M&A work in Australia, including significant cross-border transactions.

You will be involved in all aspects of corporate ECM and public/private M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, advising clients, and working closely with clients' other advisers and regulators. You will also ensure deadlines are met, support business development efforts, and supervise and mentor junior lawyers.

Admission to practice as a lawyer in Australia or New Zealand
4-7 years’ experience in capital markets or a leading M&A practice, with exposure to or a keen interest in capital markets transactions
Strong academic record, excellent technical legal and drafting skills, and a commercial approach
Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters and work effectively within tight timeframes, both collaboratively and autonomously
Passion for supervising and mentoring others, contributing to a strong team culture
