Senior Associate or Special Counsel opportunity in a national corporate and funds team based in Sydney. The role sits within a market-leading capital markets and corporate practice advising institutional investors, fund managers and private capital clients on funds formation, capital raisings, fund operation and transactional real assets work.

You will handle a broad mix of wholesale and retail fund structures, fund manager and investor-side advisory, and board-level transactional and governance matters. The team works closely with regulatory specialists and operates across offices nationally.

Minimum 7 years post-admission experience in a reputable law firm, professional services or in-house role with strong M&A and corporate transactional background
Demonstrable experience or strong interest in funds work: fund formation, fundraising, fund operation and manager/adviser engagements
Ability to lead transactional matters, provide commercially astute advice and manage senior client relationships
Sound drafting and technical skills (including Corporations Act matters) and experience mentoring junior lawyers
